About PayLoanCentral
PayLoanCentral is a small collection of free financial calculators built around one belief: the math behind a loan or a savings plan shouldn't be a mystery, and you shouldn't have to hand over an email address to see it.
Every tool here answers a question people actually ask at a kitchen table. What will this car loan really cost me? If I save $200 a month, what do I actually end up with? How much do I need to put away to have $15,000 by the wedding? The calculators use the same standard formulas that banks and credit unions use — amortization for loans, compound growth for savings, annuity math for goals — so the numbers you see here match the numbers a lender or bank would show you for the same inputs.
Who's behind this
The site is run by Andy, a writer and broadcaster who spent years explaining complicated things in plain language for a living, and who got tired of financial calculators that bury the answer under sign-up walls, pop-ups, and jargon. PayLoanCentral is what he wanted those tools to be: instant, honest about what interest actually costs, and readable by a human.
Our standards
- Instant and free. No accounts, no email capture, no limits. Results appear as you type.
- Private by design. Calculations run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are never transmitted or stored.
- Honest math. Standard formulas, edge cases handled (yes, including 0% APR), and the interest cost shown plainly instead of hidden.
- Not advice. These are planning tools. They show what the math says — decisions about real loans and real savings belong with you and, where it matters, a qualified professional.
This site is supported by advertising, which is what keeps the tools free. Ads never appear between your inputs and your results.
